more prosperous, better place to live?
Do you think all their experiences in Mexico will help them be prepared to be better citizens and voters in America? Will they accept and practise abiding by the laws of this country?
What will happen if these illegals are turned into instant citizens? Will they know what to do and be productive to the degree that the rest of American will prosper and thrive into the future?

Seems to me and my experience, that once one breaks a law, breaking the law again is even easier and so on down the line until it is stopped. How can an illegal act be condoned and rewarded with any hope for legitimacy in the future?
Is it acceptable to denegrate the quality of the lives of American taxpayer citizens by allowing wretched, needy, poverty stricken, diseased, uneducated and criminally oriented immigrants in to the USA in such vast number and to the exclusion of other, law abiding immigrants who are from different cultures and countries and who would help balance out American?

Your trippin man. It's mostly families coming over so their kids have a chance at leading a better life. They Try to conform to this culture and encourage their kids to do the same. But then you have the other type. The ones who come here just to work an save up money for a couple of years, then go back to Mexico. They never had any intentions of contributing or giving back to society. But the ones that really piss me off are the ones who act like we owe them somthing. They dont try or refuse to learn english. They expect the same rights as an american, yet they are ungrateful as hell. These are the ones that I've been noticing in my town. They're rude as hell and if you enter a store or somewhere that a group of them work at,if you can call standing around talking work,They try to stair you down,or they'll talk loudly in spanish. It's cuz of these types that in SoCal,spanish is now first on signs and other things, then english is written under it in smaller letters. When you call some places an get the automated recording, check this out I aint lyin about tis,SPANISH is what you hear first, then it asks you if you want habla engless? Its BS

I think it would be a good thing just for the fact that if they are legal then there wont be as much sneaking around and trying to get things for their families. If they are going to be here anyway let it be so that they can pay taxes and they can get real ssn. Ive been to Mexico and in the very poor parts and I would do the same thing if I were in their situation. People say that its their own fault its like that well that goes back many generations. You shouldnt be blamed for something your ancesters did way before you were here. And to the people that say they bring more crime...thats just racist. There are plenty of people here that do crime out of pure ignorance that are not Mexican. The Mexicans I know work their asses off to support their families and put American men to shame because they arent afraid of work. Americans are lazy!

I think immigrants are necessary to the economy. China has a workforce of almost 2 billion people, and the u.s. is no where near that. As far as immigrants right go, if they want to become citizens let them. A mexican dishwasher will work 16 hour day and be greatful to be working.

No, I do not! They are a blight on society. They are nothing more than criminals and should be treated as such. I hope that this instant citizenship thing is dropped because I don't know any Americans who support it. We are already taking care of too many of them, now. It is time for this stuff to stop!

If people get away with a crime, then why would they think they need to obey any other law.
They will only be productive here if they have to pay taxes and live by the laws that the rest of us do.

No. The Mexicans want to bring broken windows to every house. Graffitti spray painted on every white fence and a pair of sneakers hanging from every power line.

"...abiding by the laws of this country?"
They are failing to do that simply by being here. I've no problem with immigrants, but a fact is a fact.

Just look at how nice and advanced Mexico is...........they need to go back to their own country and fix their own problems, instead of compounding ours.

illegal.......better? i don't think so. they have shown they have a disregard for our laws simply by being here illegally. immigration is a wonderful thing. ILLEGAL is just that and should be punished/deported.
