I am a Wiccan. I cannot put all Christains into one group, because they are all different.

Some Christinan leaders have done stupid and horrible things in the past, like burning 2 million women and childen to the stake after claiming they were witches. Strong segregation still goes on today, and I have had some death threats from priests online for me beliefs. Pagans are still being criticized, threatened, hurt, and even killed by Christians today.

I try not to judge Christians from how they were in the past, because the past is the past, and they should have learned from their mistakes. I have many Christian friends, and they are sweethearts.

I find nothing wrong with the religon itself, since people can believe in what ever they believe in. I disagree with them, but still respect them, as I also resect Jews, Buddists, Hindus, and Satanists for their beliefs.

Generally, Christians have done some terrible things in the past. But we must put the past behind us and live.

As a christian, I can say it bares little resemblance to the early church though there seems to be trend in that direction... Until it looks just like the early church, i.e. miracles, signs, wonders and astonishing growth. It will remain only a label. Thus, dedicated catholics can be called christians though we believe very different things about salvation which is the cornerstone of the faith.

A religion that has lost it's way and refuses to follow the teaching of Jesus because it conflicts with the books written by Mark, Matthew, Luke and John.
A religion of people who seem to forget they are supposed to ACT like Christ..not just talk about him and compare clothes.

I personally find that Christianity, on the whole, is only what you want to believe and put into it.

There are so many religions out there. None of them are perfect, and every one of them are used by some of their followers to forward a personal agenda.

Whether the basis for Christianity (or any other religion, for that matter) is true or not, is totally besides the point.

If it's what you believe, and it works for you, then more power to you. Just please, don't use it for personal gain.

I think that Christianity, like all religions, should be treated with respect and dignity.

Christianity is a religion that believes that
Christ died on the cross, to forgive us of our sins.

The dogwood blossom is a symbol of Christianity,
partially because the wooden cross was made out of it.

Personally, I believe that Christianity is a trustworthy religion, but we should also respect other religions with just as good morals.

Christianity serves a purpose - just like anything else in the world. What purpose it's serving depends on who you are.

It's a religion and a belief system. The intent is to pacify the people and keep them still - to make sure they don't act up. The threat of hell and other such things are very effective if you believe in the dogma you're being asked to believe in.

True Christianity (ie trying to walk in Christ's footsteps) is wonderful--all else will be destroyed at the beginning of Armegeddon.

In order for you to gain respect from people, you have to respect yourself first. Your question will only create more unpositive comments and cause racial and religion rivals.

I find xianity to be completely illogical and harmful. It depends on a mythical being, encourages it's followers to get others to convert, and has a book filled with atrocities perpetrated by their "all-loving" god that 99% of xians say didn't happen the way we think we're reading it.

its a nice lil religion created by men to explain life's mysterys, but has turned into (over a long period of time), an excuse to ridicul, descriminate, and kill people who are not christians, or who are, for that matter. (examples: Rome killing early christains, or the crusades, christians killing muslims). the fact is that there was no science, they didn't know about dinosaurs, evolution, dna, cells, the fact that the world is round, and not in the center, and on and on...

But many will say that all the science is bolony, but that is cause they are too afraid to quit believing in something that they are told protects them, when all it really does is limit.

(i'm not an atheist) for those upset christians
