I beleive in whooping kids asses, but I'm just curious to see the mix of answers. This actually happened to my aunt an my little cousin. She spanked the girl, and later that week, she went to her friends house and told about it and what she did. Then the girl told her mother, and the mother called CPS on my auntie.

Hell no, I wouldn't call CPS over a spanking.

Some people need to learn how to keep their noses out of other peoples business.

No, I personally would not call cps on a parent for spanking a child, especially if it was within reasonable limits. as long as the child was not all bruised up and bleeding cps should not have any say so in how parents raise their kids!

Cps has too much say so in how we rear our kids anyway, I've had experiences with the anuses myself and they are no joke. They tell you they don't believe in spaking a child, and would rather you do time outs and thing of that sort, or like taking away things your kids like, well I'm here to tell you, I have a 7 year old, and his room could be stripped down to the bare walls and he would still be acting up. My point is, some kids just are bad and need their a$$ whooped!

So kudos to the girl's mother for doing so. And as for cps, I hope they didn't stick their nose into a situation where they should not, sounds like the mother of the child was just doing her job as a parent!

I am a mother of three small children. I too believe in whooping asses. If one of my kids steals they will be getting an *** whooping. I have two boys and one girl. I believe it takes a little more discipline with boys than girls but with something as serious as stealing, that deserves a spanking. I don't think it should always resort to spanking though. Talking should be the first option for small issues.

Spanking is not against the law, unless it leaves marks or bruises.
If a child told me that she got a spanking for stealing I would probably applaud the kids parents and then ask why they didn't put a boot up the kids A $$.

A crucial can bypass by way of their technique and checklist in the event that they think that a infant is being abused. yet it quite is the component. college team understand the version between spankings and abuse. in comparison to a neighbor, instructors can't checklist anonymously and would desire to stay with college administrative rules. they could be written up or maybe terminated for falsely reporting. That reported, it quite is rather confusing to get a instructor to checklist abuse. and that they actual won't checklist a "spanking" and function it blow up of their face. As for suing, you may purely gain this if an action is extra against them. He did not get hit via the mum and dad so he can't sue them. yet whilst he desires to be on the 6 o'clock information, he can sue in the call of the college for some style of disruption. yet lower back, that would blow up in his face.

Open hand spanking is fine
But closed fist hitting is not.
and I have to say it must be on the behind only.

I think she should of taken other measures first but some kids need a good butt kicking to get it thru their heads that they can't do stuff like that.

Do you want to spank your kid..or visit that kid in Jail?

If someone makes a complaint to CPS they are required to check into the claim. However, at least in my state, they will not open a case for spanking unless it leaves marks or bruises.

I think some kids need a good spanking now and then. People are so afraid of upsetting their kids nowadays I can't beleive it!

H**l No, she did the kid a favor by keeping her from worse consequences in the future. AND, spanking is not illegal so whoever called should be prosecuted and/or sued by your aunt for malicious intent.

i would only call the cops if the child showed up with bruises and marks. Also if the child stated that my parents beat me. I think that if you know that parents and the home you can get a feel for what type of home it is. Some people spank and some don't so I probably wouldn't call. i think parents should be free to discipline their child within reason.
