All we can say with any certainty is that you have lost one of the colours ! ( or you could have lost two colours ) I will clarify --
Red --if you lose this then the pic will look slightly green especially skin tones and lips !
Red + Blue then the pic will look very green all over !
Blue , then the pic will look yellowy ( greenish yellow ) all over,
On the neck board of the CRT is the place to start where the 3 colour drive circuitry is to be found . However unless you are fairly used to fault finding CTV call a TV tech !!. While you are waiting for him you can have a good laugh at some of the other replies , you know the really intelligent ones like its bust etc . Pete

I'm assuming this is because of the settings you have the color on, and I'm not sure if I can help there. However, a little trick I've found out about is to be sure you don't have speakers or any other electronics with possible magnetization in them anywhere near your tv screen. If you put external speakers (say for a stereo for example) anywhere close to a tv screen, it will pull color out and possibly even distort the picture, ruining the television. Good luck!

its a technichal problem. call an engineer.it's all to do with the colour circuits of which there are 3. red, blue and green. i think it's your red circuit that has a problem. probably something simple like a diode or a transistor, for which you'll be charged the earth. i have done some tv repairs before so i know what i'm talking about.

the same thing happened to my t.v. we sent it off to get repaired and it was fine for a while after it came back. the said that the colour tube had dust in it or was clogged up, but after a while it started to mess up again. I think that unless it is possible for you to send it off and get it repaired, or tell the t.v reapirman exactly what is wrong, you might as well buy another one. I have just decided, as the green (and purple in my case,) has come back again, that i am going to buy a new h.d t.v for christmas. if the green is going to come back again you might aswell. check your garuntee first though.

Before you dump the TV. Are you watching satellite, cable or freeview via a set-top box connected via a scart cable?
If so, then make sure the scart lead hasn't worked loose and/or try another scart lead.

I had 2 Daewoo TVs when this happened, but it wasn't the whole the screen - just the top right corner.
I complained, got a new one and then it happened again!
