My mum won't look out of our front room window. "People will think I'm peering at them".

Hi believe it or not people neighbours are really nosey and nearly all of the people in your street do nosey to see what you are doing and yes they will think you are peering at them. My mum is the same she hates when there is a gap in the curtain or the net curtain as it looks like someone is peeping through looking out. Quite a few times even if i have just opend the curtain to shut the window people outside have looked up and stared. Also onces even when my bedroom curtains were closed and i had the light on i could here someone in the front street looking up and talking about me. So you never know who is watching you.

Look on the bright side ( not outside the window) your Mother is not a nosey neighbour.

My mom wasn't like that at all, quiet the opposite, it was her window in her room so she could do as she pleased.

everyone looks out their windowas. I do it all the time. When ever i hear a noise. Sometimes i just look out of the the window when bored.

She just doesn't want the neighbours thinking shes nosey..... I don't think it has anything to do with paranoia.... Even though I look to watch the world go by when I'm not busy....

you think thats bad? if i get offered a cup of tea and dont feel like one its a personal insult to my mother! try explaining the finner details of how you had a maccy D's on the way home to a woman like that!!

As a mother, I say that to the kids, you see they havent mastered the art of not being seen doing it, lol.
