They pass through all the other countries, as those countries do not want them AND they tell them that the UK will take them. then they turn up in the UK, probably cannot speak the language, but hey that doesnot matter because we will pay for your house, pay you benefits free health care.

All the while you can work on the side and still claim.

I recently left the UK, had to take a medical, police clearance just to get into the Cayman Island, luckily i speak English otherwise I would not be allowed to etner until I took an English test.
Last one out please turn off the light.

Hello.

Im from Bolivia, and i can tell you why is happening all this, is because many poor country like mine, do not offer work to there citicens, people have to live with something like 60 pounds month, and that amount is for a whole family ( can be 4 or 6, depend) , and even is hard to find a job that can give you the chance to have a decent job and live.

You say many true things about how the people put in risk there health and lifes, but they do it because thye have to take that risk for can feed to there families.

Many pass by spain and other "beautiful" european countries, because like that they can say that are tourist, as bolivians we dont need a visa for enter into your perfect country, because we are know as people who doesent do any harm, not violent, not sick.

After that the people has to live a miserable life, missing to there families and sending the few money that they can send, that im sure mean nothing to live in your country, but give comfort and possibility to give education to there family for dont have to be standing the cruelty of other people.

I hope that instead of be here making some statements that we dont know, try to find solutions and help to the countries in develope who need jobs, and stop the immigration.

In my country, everyday just from one city that i have reference ( cochabamba) 500 people departure to europe, this include, spain and france, yes your country too.

The scenes in the airport are hard.. families crying, babies that have to be without there mothers, separated couples.

Please be sure that the immigrants no matter from where, they are not happy livign without family, without rights, without the possibility to have medical assistance, many of them are professionals, are very intelligent people, but remember that also they need find a way to live, without commit a delit.

They do not come here for the scenery or the climate. They come here to earn the maximum amount of money with the least amount of harassment from the authorities.

Only in Britain (and Ireland and America, etc.) is it not an offence to register with the town hall or the police on arrival, and to carry identification documents at all times. And to open a business without proof of identity and immigration-law compliance.

Britain is probably on a level with Italy in relation to ease of working "au noir" without serious consequences.
The tax and regulatory regimes are more favourable. The welfare and health-care systems are less encumbered with conditions and insurance requirements.

Although most of them don't.

Like it or not Britain is recognised as one of the world's largest economies and that's going to attract migrants here as much as it does to France, Germany, Spain, Italy and just about everywhere else in Europe.

It's easier to stay below the radar in Britain. Police are not as effective against organized crime because the dumb politicians have tied their hands at every turn.

They can get welfare and other benefits in Britain without paying a penny toward the cost.

Britain's bleeding heart open door policies. Britain and the US are the most widely criticised countries in the world yet the immigrants keep on coming.

Because all of the beautiful countries won't give him as many benefits, whilst depriving their own civillians.

Britain stinks but at least you can get a house, free mobile phone, refugee benefit etc. why stop in France or Spain - you might have to get a job and pay your way in society.

RANT RANT RANT RANT RANT RANT!!!!!!!

Because most of these countries are clever, when they find illegal immgrants, they don't stop them in their country they allow them to move on to the next and France is one of the best for doing that to the UK, so they don't have to deal with the immigrants themselves. We should sned them back to the country that they slipped in from and tell them to deal with them!
