Ford....been outselling the others 30 yrs in a row now. chevy has some lame *** advertising out their saying they are the leader in truck sales but even the biggest chevy nuts will admit that ford makes a better truck. F-150 is now capable of burning E-85, fully boxed frame, 36,000 pds of pressure to bend it's frame, better bed bolts 4 wheel vented disk brakes, outboard shocks and springs for a better ride.....

Right now the F-150 is still the best selling full size truck in America. The Silverado is a close second. The F-150 for 2008 is going to be completely revamped. The Ford release to us dealers has stated that it will be a completely new design from front grille to rear hitch and everything in between. Ford states that they are looking to keep the #1 spot with this new F-150 in the works.

Ford F series*
*This is a bogus stastic, because all Ford Motor Co trucks are sold with Ford badging. GM sells the same pickup badged both as a Chevrolet Silverado, and as a GMC Sierra.
Since Ford only slightly beats either one individually, The combined sales of Chevy and GMC trucks (and they are exactly identical vehicles except for the grille, so it's not a stretch) easily spanks Ford. So it's hardly "hands down."
HOWEVER, BOTH Generic Motors and FoMoCo sales rely HEAVILY on fleet sales. When a big corporation or government agency buys a whole slew of trucks, the bean counters rarely care about anything other than the price tag, since THEY never have to PERSONALLY drive the vehicle. That is why the bowtie bozos and blue oval boneheads sell so well. They're cheap. When private individuals buy trucks that they are going to own themselves, and they actually are getting something they really want, they generally go with a Dodge Ram, the mayor of Truckville. (tm)
