I have to pay taxes to a country that uses them to kill children. Is it ethical that I pay taxes?
I would ask to see how you come up with "most of it" going to child abuse cases, as I think this is a fictitious statement made only to prove a point. Perhaps some actual research would make your question a little more ethical.

The problem with giving the churches money today is that they are not spending it on what it is intended for. When GOD said that everyone should give tidings, is was to provide for the lower class who was unable to provide for themselves. Today, tidings are for the same thing, but none of the churches are giving it to the needy. If they were then we wouldn't have so many poor people in the world. The catholic church especially is keeping the money to fund their church. Whatever that means.

Depends on if you're Catholic I guess.
But honestly the Catholic church has done allot of good in the world (bad too yes) helping her out isn't relay a big wast.

You are wrong. Only half of it goes to support pedophilia. The rest goes to build huge churches, and buy large quantities of art.
