I can relate. Every night after dinner, I feel like I "need" sugar. I've gone through phases where I didn't feel that way though, and here's how that started: try to skip eating sugar for one day. After that, it will become easier. Your body/mind can get addicted to sugar, but once you lay off of it for a day or two, the cravings go down. Good luck!

I know someone who has this same problem. He has to keep off of sugar entirely. If he has even a little, it triggers the addiction again. It's almost like alcoholism - all or nothing. Good luck.

I've heard that if you ignore a craving for something, that desire for it gets stronger as time goes by. I found that if you minimally satisfy that craving when you get it, and then subsequently lower your ingestion of said product time after time, you can wean yourself off of it. Try it, it will work if you stay disciplined about it.
