You can pay with credit cards through one of the the authorized service providers, either online or through their 1800 numbers. However, there is a fee that is based on the amount you are paying.
The two authorized providers for 2005 tax year are
Link2Gov Corporate www.pay1040.com
Official Payments Corporation www.officialpayments.com
Best wishes.

The first link below is the IRS page on credit card payments with links to the authorized payment services. There is a processing fee in addition to your taxes.
The second link is for the Missouri Department of Revenue. They also charge a convenience fee.

You can charge your taxes using Visa MC or Discover. Try https://visa4.pay1040.com/?ep=a_cpc_google_pay+taxes. The IRS web site probably has links also. www.Irs.gov

You can pay taxes with your card, however....it's not free. there is a charge for it and it's not cheap. a client of ours wanted to pay by cc and we called the #, for $1000.00 it was going to take an extra $115 for their fees!!! Outrageously priced!! DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!!

Right now, you can not charge federal taxes. I would imagine that you will be able to sometime down the road.
