I don't believe there is a slow lane, but the left lane is the passing lane and slower cars should stay out of that land.

If this is immigration related.....
the slow lane is the lane all the idiots without proper proof of citizenship or with messed up stories are in slowing the flow of people going through immigration and customs at the airports.

It's supposed to be the right lane - that's where slower traffic is to be so that faster traffic can pass. However, during rush hour, I guess all lanes are slow!

The most right hand lane. Use it if you are really slow. If you are not going to exit for a few exits move away from it to the left unless you are going slow.

depending on what country you are driving in , amd i am assuming you are driving , USA , it is the far right-hand lane , that is in any state , all others are for passing, but you should get back in the slower moving lane , so the faster cars may also pass you , lol , and maybe get the ticket you didnt , jk ,
