It doesn't take an outgoing person to find out if a guy likes her; just simply walk up to him, smile, and strike up conversation. You two should become friends before any "going-out" is planned. That way, you two can get a good understanding of each other.

The best way is just to go tell him...you may be tempted to drop all sorts of hints, which he may not get...you may be tempted to get all your friends involved...but that only adds to the pressure...but the best way is to just tell him the next time you see him. He is just a people...just like you.
