Wat is the implications of a 0.3 BAL legally and physically?

Death and coma occur around .4 to .5. So I think .3 would be a super drunk unable to walk or talk. Probably well beyond a good buzz though. But check out this article from a guy that was walking and talking with a .914 BAC

If you are .3, you are totally f**ked up. In CA, you would get public intoxication on foot. On a car or bike, you would be charged with a DUI with a special allegation that your BAC was >.2, which mandates jail time even for the first offense.

If you meant .03, you could still be charged w/ a DUI, but the arresting officer has to prove a reason to believe that you were physically intoxicated other than the BAC results. Essentially, the officer would have had to videotape you, or the case would likely collapse.

Here in California, that is considered "Wet and Reckless" A lower charge of a DUI, but just as expensive.

0.3 usually means you are comatose and near death.
