Ok I lived in Michigan my hole life and after my husband died I moved to Florida. Down there I met my girlfriend and we decided to move back to my home towm in Michigan. We have not even been here for 6 month's and she wants to move back to Florida. Her mom and sister live in Florida but she don't ever talk to them but once a year. I have a lot of family up here and don't know what to do. Should I stand my ground and stay in Michigan where I can be happy and she can be misserable or move back to Florida to make her happy and I can be misserable?

Yes I am a lesbian now and I love her very much so where ever we do live it will be together. I do have family in Florida too so either place I'm near family.

It is really hard for southerners to adjust to the changing temperature up north. Can you be happy in Florida? If so then maybe it would be a good move. Just make sure you are not the one that has to make all the sacrifices.

well i think u should stay Michigan coz atleast u have a proper place to live in n in Florida u r not sure 2.so avoid d confusion n stay where u r sure to be happy.good luck.

Sounds like you two need to sit down and communicate what you both want. If she wants to go to FL and you want to stay in MI then so be it. Go your own ways. It is better to split now than later when there could possibly be hostile feelings between the both of you. Let her leave on good terms and always stay close.

As a guy I can tell you this is very common. Women always try to make their partner's life complicated.
So, why do us men stick with them? Well, we need sex so bad, we're willing to put up with their ever changing requests.
In my opinion, you shouldn't have become a lesbian. But at least now you see how hard it is to satisfy a woman.

stay where you are...and stay happy...don't keep uprooting for someone else..if your girlfriend REALLY cares she'll make the sacrifice...or end it and move back to Florida...seems like SHE'S NOT HAPPY!

What's more important to you, family ties or this new woman? That should make your decision. And you shouldnt force her to stay, you should tell her you're staying (if you are) and the rest is up to her.
