Well, I live in Tucson (a border town, and its not looking like its falling apart, and I haven't heard ANYBODY talking smack about illegal aliens-except the press-and probably for political reasons-elections are coming up pretty soon you know-and some need a reason to avoid the war talk.) Anyways, It is sad though-and in ways good-the system, and its process: like in this example-when you have for the extreme most part, very good and moral, friendly, family-oriented people, probably working three jobs-being smack-talked in the news, so some political machine can spin their agenda-(politicians/rulers have used fear to keep their minions in line since the dawn of man-its even one of the most effective ways to SELL something!i.e.>>> id theft protection companies, radon-gas detectors, etc) I also think it helped the CIA draw out anti-American terrorist cells from overseas, to people from Mexico speaking out (real or not) against America during the protest period. (Does it sound like America was worried putting all of this in the press? what they DID put in the press?-(the press IS controlled to a certain extent whether you believe it or not-and so is the flow of ALOT of things over the border) So, now with all of this, just imagine possible outcomes, by thinking of the MILLIONS of illegal aliens, and the MILLIONS of Mexican-Americans that COULD have created such violent protests and hell-raising problems, and didn't. Maybe besides from what I have listed above, there may become some good lobbying of fairness for wages, etc-that comes out of this process. No, besides the VERY few hate-mongers I saw on the news during this time who stood outside "ready-for hire places" harrassing the owners of these places who MAY have hired illegals (instead of just looking for a job-what morons huh?) I feel that with all considered above, MOST Americans think Mexicans set a good example of what America is all about. No sorry, It is my opinion, based on an amount of factors, too many, that it would be monotonous to post, or read, that -Americans like Mexicans, and Mexicans like Americans quite a bit. Something unfortunate must have happened to you in this regard, justly, or not, but I only can make this opinion based on what you have written (posted)-but it is far from reality (your post)-I hope things get better for you soon.

I heard your wife of two years is an illegal alien and the only reason she married you was to get a green card. Poor little woman she would have been better off being deported to Mexico. And yes the illegals know we talk smack about them, unlike you the rest of the world actually ventures out from behind the computer screen and interacts with other people. I for one am an educated American. I am not ignorant to the ways of the politicians whose only job is to keep the American people ignorant and riled up about things that amount to nothing. I have many illegal friends Wilbur. They are aware of this heightened racism in America against them. No these racists people only hide behind a screen at their desk. They do not vocalize such in the public because would not be very becoming because it sounds so ignorant. Wake up America. You the American public has clamored that they wish for this atrocity of a fence to be built. Then once all those billions of dollars are sunk into the building of this shameful wall......there will be no money for mass deportations...You see this is why the government is building this wall.. We all know that it will not serve the purpose for which it is built....They didn't even build a levy that could protect New Orleans..... the illegals crossing are just as unpredictable.....Build the fence so they will be able to say later well we don't have the money now for deportations.......Also you will see discounts on ladders on the other side of the border. You just need a ladder to safely scale the wall without a scratch.

Actually Wilbur, all this DOES make some difference. I'll grant you the possibility it may not make a lot of difference.
Nothing goes on in the universe where there is not a sneeze and someone on the other side of the world says: Salud!
There was a time I would tell it to their face but it serves no purpose to do so now. The illegals are just the cancerous lesions on the flesh of our society. They are not the reason and cause of the cancer. That reason is our corrupt politicians and governments' fault.
I DO tell my associates, friends and other Americans of my concerns for what Illegal immigration has done to damage and denegrate our country. Many are pissed off too and many are even moe effected than I am! Some are not but very few can't help but notice there is a pregant Hispanic standing in front of them in line, behind them in line and on virtually every street corner they drive by. Most of the illegals can't speak any or very much English.
I need laborers on occassion for my biz and livelyhood. Used to be able to find Americans to do the work. They don't work as well as the Mexicans/Hispanics but they were there and they were Ameicans. They aren't there anymore cuz they can't compete with the low wages the illegal will work for. It put them (Amer. laborers) and many other much higher up on the scale, out of biz.
There is so much to tell you but it would serve no purpose. This site and the info I get, has given me information to write to my Sen. and Cong. people and the President of this country and others who I have been made aware of through this site. I have told these folks of my concerns and unhappiness with their bad work and poor follow through in the use of my tax dollars.
I have seen bigotry, prejudice and stupidity and ignorance along with hatred on this site. Many times it comes from pro illegals and illegals themselve or Hispanics across the globe. I can't say I don't blame them or that I don't understand their positions.
Truth of the matter is WE Americancs more or less, got OURS ...and we don't want others who can't get their acts together in their own countries, coming here to the USA and messing up "what we GOT" anymore than it already is.
The irony is, that if we don't throw the illegals out and stop them at the border soon, the goose that laid the golden egg will surely die at the hands of these folks that come here so brazenly and illegally with little or no concern for their criminality, their unwillingness to speak English or to obey our laws and gracefully enculturate.
Things are messed up enough in the USA right now, add to that 20 +Million poverty stricken illegals and all their issues, to that as new citizens and do you think this will help America? How many lettuce pickers and ditch diggers do we need?
We will be permanently crippled, bankrupt and weakened to the degree that any terrorist, drug lord or Tom, Dick or Harry will be able to come in and finish us off. And they will come ...in fact, as far as I am concerned, they are coming now. They are the illegas that is the issue here.
That's how serious it all is in the truth that is my experience, and that is why sites like this provide a great opportunity to communitcate responsibly in the hopes that some minds will either be changed or influenced in a constructive or more positive way and to a better outcome for America and all those who wish to live here in peace, comfort, freedom and personal responsibilty for the outcome of their own lives.

And I don't talk behind any ones back,if I have a problem with any one ,they know it right up front.
I speak Spanish so I can tell the illegals that speak Spanish of my increased discontent with all illegals immigrants from any nation..We are not afraid of people here in Arizona.Besides most are just poor people doing what they can to make it.I'm not against any ethic group as individuals.I am against the entire concept of illegal immigration.

I'm sure they DON'T know what's being said about them - they'd actually have to LEARN THE LANGUAGE, and that's probably too much effort for most of them.
Damn straight I'd tell them to their FACE that they're law-breakers and they need to get out.
What's right is right - they've broken the law. PERIOD. Just because they came from adversity does NOT make the law-breakers any less guilty.
It's quite obvious they couldn't care less what's being said about them; as long as they're able to bleed us for everything they can get at the expense of the taxpayer, what do they care?
