You have only one life. Live the way you want to. If you two have to leave your country to be together, then do it now. Don't wake up 20 years from now and realize that you wasted all those years.

You need to stand up for yourself. If you love this man, don't let anything stand in your way. This is 2006, your parents can't force you to do anything. What's more important to you, your own happiness or the happiness of your parents?

Sweetie that's why I LOVE the good ole U.S of A, we as Americans have freedom of choose. I know that you probably are trying to stick with your faith and that is good, but matters of the heart are at steak. thats difficult. You are standing at a cross road and you need to make a decision, either way someone is going to get hurt, but you must make sure that you are happy and that you can live with your decision for ever after.
