Start sending fruit, an apple, orange or banana. Seedless grapes are a great hit at my house. I try make banana bread to freeze and keep on hand. It is good for them and they think it is a treat. My kids are grown, but one of our sons work near home (he has his own space in our sun room) so I make lunches for my husband and my son almost every day--It is a challenge to make a lunch they will eat. Not meaning to be critical but you sent alot of sugar.

My daughter is 9. Today she has yellow pepper strips, fresh peach slices, cucumbers, low-fat peanut butter sprinkled with brown sugar on whole wheat bread, a granola bar and a thermos of water.

I gave my 4 yr old daughter a few raw almonds, a tiny box of raisins, a small thermos of water, a few snap peas and a few pretzels. She hardly eats at all, she mostly likes having options. If I let her choose, she'd eat nothing but goldfish and cheezits.

hmm, how about some fruits and veggies in there!
juice is not a substitute for fruit and neither is a fruit roll up...

Oh those were the days I remember forging checks and waking my mom up to sign them before the bus came to take her little headache off to school.
