I am looking for a site that has simple clear design and allows an artist to upload photos of their work (Paintings, drawings, prints, sculpture etc ) on a regular basis onto the site, plus allows a bit of biography , contact details etc..cheers, thanks

Plenty of artists are on myspace and blogspot. Both require minimun knowledge of html. Myspace also has art groups and forums for artists

Many, not just www.myspace.com, but also yahoos www.geocities.com and of course www.youtube.com for those of you with a cam.
Im nout sure I fully understand your question though. Do you want to be part of an existing or website or do you want your own website in which case you should be looking for an Domain hosters of web sites.
