When I was little I thought a jam sandwich was two pieces of bread jammed together : ) Now that I'm an adult I make a jam sandwich first by cutting the crust off the two slices of good white or wheat bread. Then I spread jam on one of the slices and cover with the other. I cut the sandwich either in halve vertically, horizontally or diagonally and then cut again in half. It is placed on a plate and given to whoever wants it.

Very funny, you take two pieces of bread and jam them together. Very similar to a wish sandwich. You know, two pieces of bread and wish you had something to go in between.
