Because you have a small bump you probably do not have a lot of fluid, and what you can see I imagine is babies position..imagine babe curled up inside you, this is the way it will be laid

It's probably just the way the baby is lying. At 29 weeks, you must have had scans and hopefully everything is going well, so there's usually no cause for concern. If there's a problem, your doctor or obstetrician should be able to tell you.
Your bump can change shape quite a bit at 29 weeks - the baby is not yet "fixed" in position and can flip about a bit. You're probably seeing the baby lying across your tummy, with its head on one side of your belly button and its back on the other. If you check it again in a week's time, it'll probably have changed again.
Don't worry - just get your check-ups and look after yourself.

when I was pregnant with my first child I was ill from 5 weeks till delivery. My bump was small and I lost weight. My whole bump was baby, as well as feeling weird it looked strange. when i laid down sometimes I only looked pregnant down one side, I was told it was just because the baby was getting comfortable. I didn't know the strange positions a unborn baby could get into. I never found a book that could explain or help with questions relating to this. I spent ages laying down trying to work out what was a foot, arm, leg, it was all a great experience. Good luck.

Have you had a scan to make sure its not twin? it could just be the way the baby is lying. I've had twins and 2 single births so I know a bit, but every pregnancy is like every child all different. if your totally worried ask your doctor your the voice of your child for a long time now. Congrats and best of luck

That'll be how the baby's lying hun. The 2 bumps either side of your belly button are most than likely arms and legs, suggesting your baby is lying tranverse (Or across) your abdomen.

Nope, not wierd. I have a bump just above and just below my belly button. I dont see it when I look, but feels wierd. I had my husband feel it too, and he just smiled and said wierd. I guess I was not concerned about it and figured it was just tissue under the skin stretching. I did not bother to ask the dr since I was not worried about it. If you are curious ask the dr. at your next visit.

It most probably just the baby lying in a strange position, but if i was you i would go to see the doctor just to be on the safe side. Someone has already said it could be a hernia, this is true, it could be.

i've got seen this in photos so many times inspite of the incontrovertible fact that i on no account had an downside with my fish and this bump wich is noted as a tumor lol i know fish do get tumors inspite of the incontrovertible fact that as quickly as they do they do no longer seem to be waiting to be dealt with and lifelessness is a element in that and he replace into as quickly as in plenty anguish he would not eat. My surprising freind had her fish die to a tumor...

if i had to guess i would say that the muscle running across your belly button region is just stronger than the muscles beside it and so the weaker muscles have stretched while the othor one is still hanging on for dear life but you really need to ask your doctor could be a tilted uterus or something

ha ha! wait til you can see feet sticking out. now THAT is weird! what you are probably looking at is the rise and fall between the head and the rump of the baby. i am 25 weeks and i know my baby is laying sideways. so you can feel and see where the head is laying and where his/her little butt is.

and stop laying on your back! you're not supposed to do that!!
