I would ask her out. But lots of guys do not have that much nerve. You just have to judge from their personalities if you think they would do it or not. If not, and if you are interested and they flirt with you, ask them out! That's about the easiest solution, if you ask me. In the worst case, you will end up going on bad dates. In the second-to-worst case, they will say "No." But in the best case, they will like you and be very relieved that you took action. Good luck!

To let a girl know you like her, flirt with her, compliment her, look at her, hold the door open for her, that sorta stuff. For the other part, saying "ur a hottie!" is a compliment, but it's also flirting. So, there's your answers!

i think Ive said this before but a good way to find out is to ask them. another is eye contact more so when they are flirting with you. as for the second, flirting is flirting.

He talks to you politely, making eye contact. He will be witty, but not rude, tentative but not shy. He might, depending upon his age and/or maturity be midly insulting but not outright rude. He have a small token gift for you, or he might invite you for coffee/soda/etc.
If he is flirting, the conversation will not be a sparkling, and the talk might a little less polite.

well if you notice that he flirts with you more then other girls when you hang out with a bunch of friends then he most likely is flirting more than friendly with you
