Of course our ancestors did these horrible things..... they saw them as ignorant savages who did not deserve to live.... just as the racists see the "Illegal immigrant" today...

I don't know. My ancestors came to the port of Philadelphia from Morocco and went to Amish country in Lancaster. Most of my family is associated with Amish and Quaker people in eastern Pennsylvania, or immigrated legally directly from the Marrakesh area.
None of the men has ever even served in the military; we don't own or use guns or fight with anyone. But it is still possible that somewhere down the line somebody in my heritage has had an altercation with native Amerind people.
I certainly hope not. But there's nothing I can do about it now.

And i quote: For some reason the city was abandoned around 1300. If the Spanish did not make it a policy to kill all of the Mayan priests and burn books when they arrived in Mexico, we would all have a few more answers.

Actually, the first arrivals were the Asians that came across the land bridge in the Bering sea area. You really need to stop posting silly questions and study more.

My ancestors on my mom's side came over on the Mayflower, so my guess would be yes. On my dad's side--not sure. I don't think they came over until later (in the early 1900s) so I doubt they murdered anyone--especially native Americans.
I would rather they murder people than come over and abuse our healthcare system, steal jobs from people who were born here (or immigrated here legally) or refused to pay taxes.

Yah most likely they did.Survival of the fittest. We outsmarted the indians and took their land. The illegal mexicans are trying to take back the land and turn it into little mexico and it wont work.We beat them once and we can do it again. Are they going to pelt us with tortillas in a battle?
My ancestors were slave traders,Im not ashamed of it though, that wouldnt change anything.

My people were not illegal according to the Native Americans they met, married, and and had children with. So here I am! What was your point? Although most of my generation appears to be white, my brother regularly attends pow wows and is very welcome there. And we are all against the disrespectful illegals who are coming here now.
