Forget the other answers. If you want to win, listen carefully. Take a large conker, take one surgical scaple, Carfeully cut away the pale part at the top of the conker in one peice.

Empty out all the stuff inside.

Melt lead in an old pan over the hob (well ventialted room, gloves, shoes, eye protection) pour the lead in, place string in whilst liquid allow to set.

Reglue the pale bit carfully back into place with a hole made in it for the string, with care you can make it look seamless.

You will never ever loose again.

Good luck

When I was a kid there were no microwaves about. I think that if you put a hole in the conker for the string and stick it in the micro for about three minutes on mark 5 it should do all the things the oven used to do. Try different marks for different times and see what happens but make sure you have the holes in them........

Traditional ways are soaking in vinegar, or baking on a steady moderate heat for a few hours in the oven. But conkers? I'm amazed as most schools have gone health and safety mad and banned them.

Please be very careful before you attempt this. Many schools ban conkers now. I knew of someone whose sight was lost because a conker swung and hit her eye.

Whassup with that word today? Is that even a word? First I've heard of it??? And I thought I heard it all...a conker sounds more like something I would find on the male anatomy lol....You sound like one sick bastard to want to do anything to your daughter to make any part of her hard though...get yourself into a good twelve step program....

soak it in vinegar and bake it in the oven. or if you have the patience you can sometimes peel the skin off and fill it with cement. or just paint a stone brown and stick some string to it.
