I am separated from my husband. He stays at the trailor at his job site and comes home on the weekends to mow and pay some of the bills. I am responsible for the rest. I did not qualify for pell or any other grant because of him and had to get loans. However, now that we are separated and very little chance of working it out, does this help with my financial aid?

only if you get legally separated (in some states you have to actually get divorced)

It goes mainly by the last tax return. However, it might be worth an appointment at the college's financial aid office. However, there are a limited number of college scholarships for those entering after high school, so it is worth a try to do a scholarship search on a free membership college scholarship website. I have listed some websites below.

I believe so but, you'd have to prove it with the financial aid office. Call them, they'll let u know exactly what u need to do.
