my brother is a vegaterian and my stepdad teases him all the time and my parents don't trust my driving ether i just got my license thursday

Sometimes adults can really be stupid. Has your step dad ever thought about becoming a vegetarian and how healthy it would be for him? Maybe someone should educate him about the health aspects in being a vegetarian. It certainly will help to lose weight and cholesterol.
You go girl about that drivers license. It probably is normal for parents to harrass their kids after they get the license. It's probably all in fun anyway so don't make it too hard on yourself. Just be a good driver and obey the laws and the folks will come around one of these days and ask you for a lift. You just wait and see - Some day soon they will be in a bind and need a ride from their sweet daughter. good luck with the folks.

Wait until you have kids ;o). I don't agree your dad teasing your brother for being a vegetarian since its hard enough getting kids to eat their veggies so I'd be happy. I don't really think trust is the word regarding your mom about your license. It's more like worries since she knows your new to driving. Give her a break I'm sure as time goes things will let up.

I find vegetarians to be weird people but no parent should make fun of people because of their food choices.
As far as driving is concerned, talk to your parents about it.

because they were raised that way and that's the way that they are going to be. To change someone, you have to go back, and change who they were instead of trying to change someone in the present. Bleah.
