Whenever jealous thoughts come into your mind, start focusing on what you want in your life and what is positive in your relationship(s).

Stop. Look. Go.

Stop yourself. Right now, right where you are. Get in the moment.

Look at the situation. What is going on that makes you feel this way? Do you feel inadequate? Is the feeling realistic? Why are you measuring yourself to someone else? Have you taken the time to identify and fully realize the signifigance of your own talents, beauty and attributes? Is this healthy? Should you be allowing yourself to be involved in the situation/relationship if you are feeling jealous?

Go ahead with your life. Go in a direction that leads you away from these feelings. If you are jealous about material things it's time to assess your values; or you can assess your abilities and qualifications - if you do not have what it takes to earn the money you want to obtain the items you want then it is time to go back to school... the investment will pay off. In North America everyone has access to education. If it is jealous about someone with better health, relationship, looks etc... I would suggest spending time to improve your health, to take care of yourself. But also be realistic, you were born the way you are and need to find some acceptance with what you are. Relationships, well those are tricky, but you can not force someone to be something that they are not. You can only put forth your best foot. If they do not reciprocate your feelings or actions it's time to move on... don't waste another second of your precious time... just move on... GO! Go forward into a better life. Free yourself from the horribly time consuming feelings of jealousy! You're worth it!

dont go over the top with the jealousy. It can be nice knowing someone is jealous shows you care but when it gets to bad it can be almost stalkerish.

Realize that jealously is an emotion that has no benefits, yet has enormous potential for serious harm if it gets out of control.
