i am very shy and it is hard for me to talk to my boyfriend about anything because i really dont know what to say to him when we be on the phone. We just be on the phone real quiet what should i do?

if you love him .. you should tell him what you really feel..
i mean you should be more open to him that's concerning about your relationship or anything coz in that way your boyfriend will know what you want in your relationship

your boyfriend should be someone you can easily talk to, crack jokes and all, like your best friend. it really shouldn't be that hard for you guys to communicate.
you mentioned you are very shy, well is he shy then? cause if he is, it's gonna be hard for the 2 of you to communicate in the future. if he isn't, that's great for you. he can be the one talking most of the time while you can be a good listener. but please, learn to open up more, be more comfortable with him and those brief moments of silence. maintain eye contact with each other and smile to show interest in whatever you guys are talking about. if it's easy to talk when you guys meet outside, it will be easy to talk on the phone as well.
remember to stay comfortable in those brief moments of silence on the phone. relax and talk about how's your day like and such. or you can talking about your next date. make jokes, laugh, get comfy with each other, you guys are already a couple yeah?

It's simple. just talk. Tlk abt what you're interested in,or find out what he's interested in. build up a conversation with simple things like find out how his day was or what are his plans for the next day. Find things that are common between both of you and just chat. don't be shy......i used to be the exact same way w/ my bf but eventually, after enough practice, i could tlk to him about anything. Trust me!

Talk to him as you would anyone else. Just think of him as another person...Not anyone special. Surely you have thoughts in your head. Simply express them.
If there's silence between you, it's not just your problem. He isnt holding up his end of the conversation either. Maybe you should try email. That way, you have time to gather some thoughts of what to talk about. Ask questions. What would you like to know about him?

If it's hard for you to talk to him, maybe he's not right for you. The right person is someone you should be comfortable with and can talk to him about anything.
