Like its santas day because every one welfare checks come its freaking crazy people shopping and eating and all happy. Why is Regina so dang crappy compared to the rest of Canada? I think the one thing you need to remember is that Regina is sitting right in the middle of farm country. Everyone is not necessarily happy because they just recieved their welfare checks, they just happen to be happy and friendly people. Regina is a city but the people living there still have a small town mentallity. They will smile and wave when you pass by, they will stop and help if your car breaks down on the side of the road, and if you are unable to get that car going you will most likely be invited over for dinner. Regina may not have allot of culture to offer, there is no ballet or major theatres, but they do have a CFL team, and the Regina Pats play some decent hockey. There are some beautiful parks and such, and it is still very affordable to live there. Granted, Regina is not for everyone, I did live there at one point and am now living in Vancouver, I would never move back myself but, I can appreciate the city for what it is. It may not be for me but I can still enjoy visiting my family there and can appreciate why my mother loves the fact that she lives somewhere where her neighbor will clear her driveway of snow in the middle of a blizzard without being asked because he knows she has to get to work and lives alone since my dad passed away. I can enjoy being surprised when I go out with my brother for the night and he takes me to these bars and clubs where I have the best time because everyone is so friendly. When travelling in Canada I think you have to remember that one of the best things about travelling in Canada is the differences in province to province, so instead of coming down on Regina if you cannot appreciate it than at least look at it as a place you can enjoy driving through so that you are able to appreciate Calgary and Vancouver that much more.

I think you need to spend some time learning to write rather than worrying about what goes on in Regina

Wow.... is this the only place you have been in Canada?

I mean you took the time to ask the same question/statement twice....

If you don't like going there, stop going! Additionally, your welfare cheque could be spent countless other ways, instead of traveling to OUR country =)

Wish Customs at the border would stop people like you and send you back to the rock you crawled out from.

Think about what it rhymes with, so why wouldn't it be the next closest thing?
