Actually Jews did not exist until after Judah, son of Jacob (Israel) was born. Abraham was a descendant of Eber, therefore he was Hebrew. It is somewhat debatable whether the Palestinians represent the Philistine people, which would be the descendant of Ham and thus not Semitic at all. It is Arabs that claim to be sons of Ishmael and Abraham. The Palestinians seem a bit less certain of their ancestry. As they claim to have possessed Canaan before the Jews that would make them of Canaanite heritage, and would make them Hammitic and not Semitic and support the notion that they descended from the Philistines.
In any event, there's been a lot of genetic mixing since Abraham.

Abraham was Ishmael's' father. Abraham was and IS NOT the father of Islam.
Abraham followed the living God and was the first Jew; also the patriarch of the Jews and Christianity.
Please get your facts straight.
P.S. Israel owned a heck of a lot more land and it was stolen from them by the Romans. In 1948, they got a tiny piece of back...and the Arabs / Muslims have fought with Israel since.
Why don't Muslim countries such as Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Syria and Saudi Arabia give a small piece of their land to Palestine. Why don't they (countries above) share some of Ishmael's blessing with them?

In WWI the British recluited many palestinian leaders and told them that if they helped them overthrow the Turkish empire, the British would grant them independence.
The palestinians agreed, and helped the British in world war I. However, after the war ended, Palestine was turned into a british mandate (colony). The palestinians kept waiting, and waiting, and waiting... After World War II, many Arab countries and European colonies begun declaring their independence.... Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, India, Egypt... one by one the european colonies were becoming free. Palestinians expected the same thing... the brits had promised them independence after all, right?
But they were betrayed by the international community. The UN decreed the creation of the state of Israel, and suddenly, millions of jewish people from all parts of the world begun settling in Palestinian lands, taking away farms and cities and places that had belonged to the Palestinian people for thousands of years, all with the support of the international community.
Before they could notice, Palestinians had turned into second-class citizens in their own land. They could not marry israelis. They found it hard to get an Israeli citizenship. It became hard to get a job if you were of Arab descent. Poverty and crime were more widespread among palestinians than among israelis.
Discrimination became rampant.
Palestinians became angry, and begun to fight again for their independence. Many fundamentalist groups took advantage of this anger and brainwashed desperate and poor palestinians into terrorism.
I think now it's too late to demand the dissapearance of Israel. Both peoples should learn to live together. But it's hard to do.
The palestinians were betrayed. Nowadays, they still have to live in poverty, with the Israeli government constantly bombing and doing military incursions on their territories. With a wall separing their territories from the Jewish ones, in a fascistic, Nazi-like way.
As you can see, real-life politics is far more complicated than what the media portrays. I don't condone terrorism, but you've got to understand its causes. Palestinians certainly have reasons to be angry.
That being said, not all Palestinians hate Jewish people. It's just a minority that does. (Just like there's a minority of Jewish people that hate Palestinians).

Muslims don't automatically hate Jews in general. Palestinians have been living under Israeli occupation since 1967, they were expelled from their homeland, many of them have been in Israeli jails often for long and without trial, many of them lost relatives in that conflict.... these are experiences that produce hate and as people often tend to stereotyping many people start to hate all Jews. It's like many people in America started to hate Muslims after the September 11 attacks (although this was done only by a very small group of Muslims). This is a human fault. Muslims didn't hate Jews when they were living among them peacefully. Well I don't excuse it. It is wrong to hate Jews. It is wrong to hate Muslims. It is wrong to hate anyone for their religion or ethnicity. But Israel is also doing wrong to Palestinians.

Abraham and Sarah were going to have a child, but Sarah couldn't so she told Abraham to have one with Hagar, the servant. She had a son, but Sarah didn't like the son, so she cast him and Hagar off into the desert, which began the Arabic tribe.

Palestine underwent an ersatz invasion by Jews in the late 1940s, and when they resisted, they lost their homes and land. The sense of place runs emotionally deep, and the homes were taken without compensation. This conflict is more about territory than about religion.

Because they drove them out of their homes. they don't have a country of their own and because they are being persecuted by the jews day in day out. What else do you want to know.
During the time of Muhammad (PBUM) they lived happily with the jews. But as they took the land of the palestinan people that is when the trouble started. would an American like to be driven out of your house by an Red Indian because the land belonged to them some centuries back . rediculus
