Using a whole chicken (washed & cleaned) add cold water to cover, add spices you like to the water (garlic, onion, celery, tamarind etc) bring to a boil, turn off heat. Do not open the pot, leave to cook & cool for several hours. Remove meat from the bones, separate into portions & store in air tight containers. Then buy plum sauce or other oriental sauce, chop onions, garlic, celery, bell peppers, & stir fry veges, add thawed chicken, sauce to taste, serve with pasta, rice, bread etc. (cooked pasta also freezes well, and you can add any veges, sauce,or cheese for a really quick meal.) Another thing that freezes well is turkey chili, that recipe is from the "Michael Thurmond 6 week body makeover" & it's very good, you can check his website or others for a recipe, & tweak by adding or subtracting some spices you like.

IF making right away Bake in a 350 degree over for about 30 minutes to heat everything and then top with cheddar cheese, and ritz crackers. put back in oven till cheese is melted and bubbly.

homemade meatballs can be easily frozen in sauce and then just heated up with pasta. Soups freeze very well too.

You can also freeze pies to add a homemade touch to after dinner.

I suggest that you experiment with different things to see which freeze best.

Lasagna, Vegetable and beef soup minus the potatoes, stroganoff, pea soup, haluopke (stuffed cabbage or peppers), stuffed shells without sauce...freeze sauce separately, pot pie-chicken-turkey- or beef.
