Danielle, It is likely that your MOm has the best intentions for you.
She is also older and has had alot of experience with people. Trust her. Talk to her and ask why she does not want you to date him.

Is this the guy that is 2 or 3 yrs older than you? You are about 13 or 14, right? I hate to say this because I know you dont wanna hear it, but listen to your mom. She knows better.

GEt her reasons y she doesn't want you to hang around him then tell her your reasons y u should be around him. Adults like to negotiate.
