My son has similar problems and a camera shows problems inside the Colan.
Do not self administer go and see a doctor and the treatment is extensive so this gives you some idea as to the seriousness of the illness..

You can help the symptoms greatly to IBS by changing your diet and having a exercise routine. Caffeine, stress and high fat foods can cause major problems. Increase your fiber (veggies and grains) and reduce fat caffeine and stress. This will help alot. Start a food diary and write everything down. you will then notice what causes your flair ups.

Please go see your doctor! IBS can lead to other serious health problems, I know I have crohns disease! Also until you go to the doc stick to a low fiber diet, it may help a little with the cramping and going so often! Good Luck!

I have IBS and my doctor went as far as prescribing Lomotil....go ask your doc about it.... it stopped the cramps and the diarrhea. Before that I lived off of Imodium.
