Unfortunately, it would be exceedingly difficult. America has lost its innocence and much of its moral compass. Even among establishments that have traditionally upheld the spirit of chastity, such as the Church, the state of virginity can hardly be found. Most parishioners over 18 years of age have lost their virginity, and many can rightfully be classified as promiscuous.

The Cultural Revolution in the 1960’s, which made sexual license in vogue, was never fully attacked by the Church and other institutions that upheld traditional values. The moral majority, instead of upholding morals, sought to win a popularity contest, and as all popularity contests invariably do, they force the participants to comprise on their principles. The Churches that denounced acts of lewdness now strive to appease the lewd.

I, like you, wanted to find a woman that preserved her virtue, but outside of going to a third world country, this goal is next to impossible to satisfy. My advise to you is to look more at the character of the person as a whole, than concentrate on whether that individual maintained their physical purity. I don’t mean to sound cynical but to pursue only virgins will yield disappointing results in this day and age.

Nudity has nothing to do with whether a person is virgin or not. America is one of the only places in the world who equates nudity with sexuality and acts like it is the end of the world for that reason. Europe, Australia, New Zealand, etc don't make a fuss over it and why should they? Life is too short to be that uptight.

Oh No! No virgins? - There goes the Christmas pageant!
(Guess that's alright, as we probably wouldn't be able to find 3 wise men either)

Seriously though, both men & women are indeed having premarital sex in large numbers today. That's just the way our culture is: more sexually active. While it may seem like everyone is doing it, in reality there are still some virgins out there.

One more thought for you, the asker of this question, and for Lawrence Louis on the answers here: It's all fine and good if you guys prefer a virgin over a more sexually-experienced woman; however, i hope you are planning on saving yourself for her as well, or you are preaching a double standard of virtues.

Peace out

I and many of my friends are. I'm 29 years old, and I don't date. I don't believe in it. "Love isn't something you sell by giving away free samples." (come september) I'm even going as far as to save my first kiss for the altar. As are most of my friends. It happens. Innocence is another matter. That is pretty much impossible to hang onto in this culture. The temptations are many, but with a support structure it IS possible to maintain purity.

Simply being exposed to prono does not mean that someone is no longer a virgin. Plus I would like to state that other countries children are exposed to far more "pornographic" images on their regular TV shows than American.

At first, i was going to be funny and say "yes, but their all under 10". But I read in Sundays paper, that they arrested this guy for having videos of children 4 and 5 yrs. old engaged in various sex acts!! Could someone explain to me what kind of sex acts could a 4 and 5 yr. old engage in? Not to mention what kind of pervert would care to watch them!!!

I agree. It's hard to stay innocent with all the nudity slapping us in the face. But, yes there are still a few virgins out there.

As a Mexican American I think things have gotten way too explicit and way too accessible for our kids in this country.

But then I turn on telemundo and our TV channels are EVEN WORSE..

Thank God I don't have a little girl, they probably think the only way thet'll get ahead in life is to be emaciated and show their T&A for a living.

Most of the child porn you find on the net comes from other countries. Not from the US. I'm not saying it isn't here, but we aren't the only country that has it. I have been to other countries where they show alot more on tv than they do here.
