Should I make promises like, I'll shave my facial hair, and wear my dentures when I go out of the nursing home? HELP ME!!! what can I do to get him to love me back???

The question is , when did you stop loving yourself????? You are so deserving of someone who feels the same way you do. Obviously you are trying to make something happen that is not in the cards right now. Did you rush into intimacy?????
This might be a gift in a way.... as this person is not where you are in this relationship...... Sometimes lust and love are very confusing, especially when you have been intimate. Perhaps you are expecting more than he is capable of or wanting to give to you.
Take a break and get yourself back on track ...
do something that makes you feel good about you ..... You must love yourself first....
You sound great and you probably have lots to offer.....but don't serve it up on a whim....
Love as well as friendship should be two sided, if it isn't , it is not real..... Relax, the right person will make an appearance when you least expect it... Don't try so hard... People sense this and might think you are desperate......
