you are under a lot of false impressions right now. And I'll try and clear them up.

For starters:
you can not become pregnant the week before your period unless you have an exceptionally short cycle. On average a womans cycle is about 27 days and she would get pregnant at least 14days before her period.

Second:
If you did have a short cycle and you did get pregnant close to your period date, you would not get your period. The mensus is a way of your body expeling the egg that went unfertilized and preping itself for the start of a new cycle, new egg, and new opportunity for pregnancy. This is why bleeding can be associated with miscarriages, because the body is expelling everything attached to the uterus.

The jelly like clump is not the egg. The egg is microscopic in size. If you had a normal period otherwise then you are most likely not pregnant. Sometimes women get a light period and are still pregnant, but if other than the clump things were normal, chances are that you are not. It does not matter at what point in your cycle you become pregnant. If you are pregnant you will 9 times out of 10 not get one or it will be very light.

Yes, the egg released 2 weeks prior to your period starting is lost during your period. BUT, that isn't the jellylike slump you've been seeing.

The human egg is barely visible to the naked eye. What you've seen is probably just cervical mucus. It is produced throughout your menstrual cycle but the consistency varies from thick & dry to thin & watery according to the particular phase of your cycle.

The whole point of your period is to shed the lining of the uterus if pregnancy does not occur. So you *should* miss your period if you get pregnant during a given cycle. (And that would be approximately 2 weeks before your next period is due). It is possible to have some spotting (and some women have heavier bleeding), but you shouldn't have your period.

no the egg is so small like a sperm you could not possibly see it,it is most probably a blood clot that you pass.and no it isnt a sign of pregnancy, you should not get a period what everpart of the month you fall,as if you have a 4 week cycle you will have concieved in the middle anyway

eggs are microscopic. They cannot be seen. A positive pregnancy test indicates pregnancy. Please get yourself a book on female reproduction.
