Keep putting ice on it. Try to keep it still. And start looking around for an animal clinic that might help you!!!! It could have broken its leg - you don't know. That said - dogs can get around easily on three legs but you don't want it to be in pain and you don't want it to get gangrene. Can you get some arnica (a homeopathic)? That is for swelling so I would also get it that - look up children's dose.

My suggestion would be to call around to find an emergency vet in your area who would be willing to treat the animal free of charge, or perhaps make payment arrangements with you.
