No, if that is all that's going to be in the diet. One can live on animal protein alone, without carbohydrates, and there is strong evidence of that. But the body cannot exist without protein. Corn and corn meal are very low in protein, consisting primarily of carbohydrates. You would starve without the protein your body needs if corn were your only food.

If you're asking, can a person live healthfully by eating corn and corn products without using other grains and including protein in the diet, my answer is yes. Many people have allergies to wheat and other grains. Corn can be used to replace those grains and, as proved by North-American Indians, is a useful and healthful addition to the diet. After all, none of the common grains we use were on this continent before the Europeans arrived and there at least two million people in the area now covered by the United States alone. Then there were all of those others in the areas of Canada and all of Latin America. They too used corn in many cases.

No, a person needs more variety.. certain foods have things that you cant get from corn and cornmeal

yes, one can live but he will end up with many deficiencies of other nutrients.....corn n corn meals are cerelas which only provide calories n carbohydrates. body require other macro n micro nutrients to for normal functions. macro nutrients like calories-require fr various physical n metabolic activity Proteins-for muscle n body building and fats-essential fatty acids reqire n micro nutrients like vitamins n minerals fr normal vision,bone development, for skin n other enzymatic activity in our body. So if u only be on corns n corn meal not enough fr ur body requirements. n micronutrient deficiencies are danger always.
