Not quite--many many bones are below St Peters-- they RAIDED grave yards for many miles around when it was built.
No one knows exactly what the significance was-- but they did.
OBVIOUSLY poor old Peter is not down there-- some poop just declared that he was. Vatican jube jube majik!
