Look the rapture is real and it is going to happen, for the lord him self shall descend from heaven, with the voice of the arc angel, and with the trumpet of God,and all the dead in Christ shall rise, and we who remain alive shall be caught up to be in the air with the lord, and so shall we forever be with the lord,so encourage each other with these words 1 Thessalonians 4 16-18,so you see it is not absurdity.

Its not absurd, it is just unwise. Jesus Himself said in the bible not to go around looking for signs, He rather the christian focus on building a relationship with Him instead of this fruitless pursuit of "fortune telling phophetic" stuffs. He say He will come when least expected.

Absolutely not. It is our greatest hope. Look at it like this, if we are fools, then what have we lost if it's not true. BUT, what will you lose if we are right? "Professing themselves {to be} wise, they became fools."
