16. And I would not allow my daughter to go to the movies with two guys unless one was her brother!

I think 14y is good for a school dance or function, that is if the parents drop them off and pick them up and the kids meet there. Now then on a date, date I think 16y should be the age. I have a son who will soon be 16 and he isn't allowed to go on a date until then, and the young lady needs to be of the same age. If I had a daughter I would not let her go to the movies with two boys at the same time. I believe that would be putting her in a situation that could be a problem.

How old is your daughter? That would play a big part in whether it would appear inappropriate or not.
Two boys came to the door and asked if my 10 year old daughter could go to the park with them, my husband said no in such a tone, I don't think we will ever have to worry about them asking that again. You can not be to careful and I really appreciate that your a parent who cares.
I would only allow supervised group activities with both boys and girls at 16 years old. By setting these limits you take stress off the child because they can say my parents don't allow individual dating. This keeps them on track with their education. There are plenty of group activities too.

You can't truly date until at least one is sixteen--otherwise there is no getting anywhere! If you drop your child off at the theatres or another responsible adult does, I see no harm in that.
I'm fifteen, and that's what I do until I can drive, ask my mother to drop me off or have my date pick me up. It works fine.
Really, the age for dating depends on the responsibility of the child in question. My parents let me go out on my first date when I was thirteen because I was mature enough to handle it. But some girls should not date until they are 16 or 17.
And I would let my daughter to the movies with two boys, provided they both were friends and I knew them personally. I would not let her go with two random hooligans she picked up at school, however. The best thing would be for another girl to go, however. Safety in numbers!

I think that 16 is a good age.. but try to have her double date. I don't think that you should let her go with 2 boys.. until she is like.. 18! Unless one is her dad! Girls have such a bad influence in America now days, you don't want her to think that she needs to be like every other girl.. wearing mini skirts at 12 and pregnant at 13-14! Let her know that she should take care of her body, and that no guy is ever really perfect-and that she should save herself for marriage. Tell her that a good place to go hang out and make friends is at church with all the kids her age-just a suggestion.

I am not going to let my daughter date until she is 16. Also, I wouldn't let her go to the movies with 2 boys unless I knew both of them very well.

I think 14 is a good age to start. Yes i do think letting her go with 2 boys is wrong, mainly because you don't know them and can't trust them. Its always better that your daughter goes with people she has known for a long time.

It depends on who the boys are. Honestly, I wouldn't allow my daughter with 2 boys unless they were her brothers. I think high school is an appropriate age for a girl to have a boyfriend, but until she was 16 i wouldn't let her go unsupervised unless it was to a school function.

13, with other 13 year olds. Just make it clear to her from the begining, no older boys, no more than a year older than you. If she is going with 2 boys they are probably just friends. Don't give her the idea she can't just be friends with boys, that actually puts pressure on the girls to be something more with every guy they know, not good. Actually going to the movies with 2 guys is probably safer than going with just one. Anyway its a public place and just a couple of hours. Anybody worried about that is a little paranoid I think.
