Wikipedia is one of the most helpful places to go on the net to get this type of information quickly and easily -- no log in required.

Took me a fraction of the time to find that as it does to log in to Yahoo answers, type a question, choose a category, preview and submit...not to mention the time you'll need to come back and check the answers people submit.
