I think the best oil for frying is peanut oil because you can cook with it at higher temperatures. Other types of oil will burn and start to smoke at temperatures that will have no effect on peanut oil.

Peanut oil is by far the healthiest but the best?

LARD just like grandma use to do.

If frying is done right, the oil stays on the outside, where the surface is browned and crispy. The inside is cooked to perfection from the heat, not from penetration of the oil.

Fried is NOT bad. Not using hot oil or old oil is the problem.

Peanut oil because you are able to use a higher temperature for the oil than if you use vegetable oil. Higher temperature crispier chicken.Vegetable oil smokes at 350 and peanut oil doesn't. Olive oil is awful for frying because, it smokes to easy.

Well.......... the best oil...............its both sunflower oil as well as olive oil. but i consider baking to b the better option and more useful and healthy as compared with frying. bcoz fried food cud gain more weight and is not good in the long run. it also increases cholestrol level in your blood.

try eating fried items maximum once or twice a week and do bake, saute or make curry. if u want to know how indians make some good recipe, try out www.pachakam.com/
