It should be ok. Some people say 2 to 4 hours tops but I have forgotten to pick chicken away for about nine hours and had 3eaten it many times with no problems. all the bad bacteria had been killed when the chicken was cooked and it takes a little while before bacteria can grow enough to be really harmful. I am a biologist and know a little bit about bacteria.
enjoy your bird :-)

If it has been left out for nine hours, it would be cold, and would need reheating before you can eat it. I would suggest that you heat it in the microwave till it is really hot, and that will destroy all the bacteria that it may have picked up.

Throw the chicken out. Cooked chicken if left out over 2 hours is bad. Bacteria forms on the chicken and you can get seriously ill.

Any food that has to be refridgerated should not be left out for more than 3 to 4 hours. It is now exposed to bacteria and could make you sick.

When in doubt throw it out. Chicken can look good for a while, but the bacteria that grew there over night will take affect asap. DOnt risk it.

no chicken and turkey grow bacteria very quickly and should be refrigerated and not left at room temp so the little buggers can contaminate it.also be sure to clean all surfaces including your hands that have touched the raw meat.detergent and bleach. keep yourself safe.or you will be projecting from both ends.

here,in this case, it depends on the condition in which u left it behind 9hrs ago.
if u kept it open, just smell it and c whether its producing any foul smell.
if it smells bad............toss it off. and dont repeat it. if not smelling bad, just heat it and eat.
remember, if this happens next time, just smell it. only through smell u cud know whether its good or not.
