Yes…
Considering we only get one lifetime on this planet, I believe it is too short.
I’m 55 years old, and I still reckon it is too short.
For those who die at a very young age of course… life is far too short !!!
I believe we should try to make the most of each day, because there is never any guarantee that it won’t be our last !!!

Too short for what?
I venture to say that you are relatively young, a female, and maybe leaving your 20s. 30s or 40s.

I'm a 53 yr. old male who lives with pain everyday of my life. I'm a devout Christian and a PhD, a Spanish teacher in high school and college, and a minister. I tell you this so that you'll know that I've experienced life. My father just died. I'm educated and hold multiple graduate degrees. I work with the young, middle groups, and the elderly. I see my 77 year old mother struggling with the loss of my father. They knew each other for 63 years. I'm a disbled vet. There is so much pain in life that in some ways it is not at all too short.

My wife is almost an invalid and is borderline agoraphobic. My children are grown and on their own. I have 3 grandchildren. While I'm ready to be out of pain and to have life's woes to be gone, I also know that there are people who still need me. In that regard, life isn't long enough.

What is your purpose in life? Without a well defined purpose, at some point life becomes relatively meaningless and then would probably be too long. When one has a purpose and mission in life, then it is too short.

Make the best of what you have now. Let tomorrow take care of tomorrow and let yesterday be in the unchangeable past. Be a servant today...give of yourself.

Now, I only hope to die before I become incontinent or a burden to my loved ones. But, as long as I can fulfil my purpose, I want to be here to do it.

It all depends what you consider life and how you live it. If you live the "Good" life then 9 out of 10, life is too short. But if your life sucks(!) then life is probably too long!
However, if you are looking at it from a spiritual aspect, your spirit lives forever....the body is the temple for the soul.

I cant believe its almost here again!!!! Yes life is entirely too short to share all the things and joys with everyone u love!!!! So live life to its fullest while we r here! I didn't, until I had kids. Now, yeah, it's too short. And I have to be away from them for too long at work.

Retirement should work like this - when you're young, you're retired - you don't work, you get a pension, and you raise your family, etc.

When you pass 50, it's time to get a job and go to work for the rest of your life. That way, you get to enjoy life while you're young, enjoy your kids while they're young enough to enjoy you, and spend the most depressing part of your life working.

life is what you make of it sometimes we do things that cut our lives short or jeopardizes our lives..when i was a child i thought I'd live for ever and took life for granted.. Life is our to respect and cherish but when its all said and done...i don't think there are very many people who can say they did every dream they had in life...so in reality life can be long or short and we'll always have that one dream still standing after we are gone

I never thought it was. I honestly wanted to be dead by 50. After seeing my grandpaps pass away painfully from cancer and Lou Gerighs I thought, I'm not going to go through that. BUT now I have a daughter who will be 4 in March and I've honestly thought about death allot and how I wish I could live forever. Children change the outlook of everything in your life.

I think that life can be too short. Life is what you make of it. Life is an open book waiting to be written. :)

I think its too long. Who the heck wants to keep putting up with so much crap all around us? Babies dead in the streets of China, Christian Crusades in Indonesia, school shootings, people kidnapping & molesting children, U.S. invading country after country, people like Paris Hilton everywhere. Life is too long.
