In other words, how much money does the church get from reading from the bible, singing songs and giving a sermon for an hour and a half?

All I know is my dad would give like $40-50 a week and around Easter and Christmas maybe even a bit more...

I can't give you an exact number, but when I attended catholic church as a child, they would pass the collection plate about seven times during a 45 minute service...

Really it depends on what religion and where the Curch is located, for example a Catholic Church in Las Vegas would get 100 times more money than a Catholice Church in Cebu, in the Philippines!

I'm hoping you are going to give us the answer. If 200 people each give an average of $10, that's $2000. I'm thinking that's actually a bit high, so I'm going to lower it to between $1250 and $1500.

Well, from what I can remember of ging to church, I would say that most give one to two dollars with a few exceptions so I would say anywhere between 200 and 500 bucks......
