Yet Jesus stood strong and still died for their sins... GREAT indeed

Yes, and Jesus predicted all this before it happened, now look at what His disciples did afterward!
The 4 gospels, the Book of Acts, and all the books of the New Testament, The spread of Christianity, the Church in Ephesus, Corinth, and all the others, and see what happened to the Disciples, all but one was executed (Martyred) for it.
Umm.. seems like Jesus had a great influence after all

Um, U forgot to mention that Jesus knew what they all were going to do. And so first mention that part. But the thing is, he knew what everyone was going to do so its basically not like he didn't influence His companions. You should read the book fo acts and see that He actually did influence them all. After everything, they all wet to follow His ways adn went around eveywhere to minister. They even risked being killed and going to rpison just to speka of Jesus. So i thin ur worng on that part. It was kinda human nature that Peter disowned Jesus and that the rest ran away.

And after their received the Holy Spirit they went throughout the world teaching Christ. All but John dies in the cruelest way imaginable. All they had to do to avoid screaming painful death was to deny Jesus and say it was all made up.. But the teachings of Jesus spread around the world instead... Jim

This is because humans make mistakes, and at this time they were still confused who Jesus is. What you are forgetting is that even though Peter denied Christ, he ended up giving his entire life for God and died on an upside down cross because he followed Christ.

They all gave up their lives for three years and followed Him from town to town. After His resurrection, most of them were so steadfast in their belief that they were willing to die just for believing. They were hunted and shunned. That sounds like quite a bit of influence to me. That sounds like a ton of proof in favor of the resurrection being real.

...I think you should re-read your history, and re-think my position. The apostles were transformed and empowered by God's Spirit after Jesus was raised - 10 of 12 were martyred, one was boiled in oil (unsuccessfully) and then exiled to Patmos, and one was died a traitor (Judas Iscariot).
...Jesus entrusted the Gospel to them, they preached it and many were converted (due to the Holy Spirit) and Christianity is still around today.
...And the more they were persecuted, the more the early church grew.

Yep, they were humans like us. Talking about influence, where do you think that church of God comes from? How do you think that the word of God has sparse though the world so fast?

We still deny Jesus and crucify him everyday, it´s sad. But he loves us..

and yet nearly every one of them died horribly for Him. The only explanation for why they did this is that they knew the Truth. No one dies for something they know to be false. And they truely would be the only ones that know if it was all absolutely true or not.

The disciples was human just like you and me. They had there weakness' just like us. What ever they did did not stop the message of Christ so it is of little importance what they did when Christ got arrested and crucified.
