is there any side effects of wearing contact lens? i'm 16 and i wear it everyday. is that ok? or bad?

been wearing them for 13 yrs almost, and i'm only 23- my vision hasn't worsened but it won't get better. i started wearing them when i was in like fifth grade. i even sleep in them-not recommended-but my eyes are fine and unless a doc tells you other wise-i would say that you are fine also

don't wear it for too long hours, clean them properly and change the contact lens casing every three months.
