If I could , I would ban Islam in the face on the Earth . What do you think about someone who kill to prove that he's not a murder ? this are muslims . If you accuse muslims to be violent, they'll denied it and kill a few people and burn down a few churches or consulates to prove the contrary. See who's imposing the wearing of scarves in Europe and banning any other religion in their own country ( saudi Arabia and others ).

Some religion advocates violence as in the passages quoted here. However Christianity does not advocate violence. To say a world without religion would be more peaceful is misguided. A world of tolerance of religious beliefs would be less violent. But that world can only come when everyone is allowed to worship or not worship without persecution from people that believe differently. Eradicating ignorance and poverty will not make violence go away. Even in our country there are educated people with enough money to cause arguments when they fight against people with beliefs different from theirs. It is no longer politically correct to say Merry Christmas, we must now say Happy Holidays in order not to offend those who don't celebrate Christmas because they don't believe in the birth of Christ. Even Easter decorations in store windows have been attacked because the use of the symbol of the cross. Our money is imprinted with "In God We Trust", however, we have many who want that taken off our currency. We can no longer stand up in school and pledge allegiance to our flag because of the words "One Nation, Under God". This country was formed by people running from religious persecution, but we are still doing it today. I sit in my office everyday and look across the street at a church whose steeple rises high above all other buildings, a cross prominent in its design and I wonder when these people who can't stand the site of the cross will ask the church to take down their symbol. We argue in this country amongst ourselves to the point that it isn't politically correct to say anything and those people who get up on their soap boxes and cause the most ruckus over one debate or another only shift the tide in their favor to the point that people who like the symbols of religion and want them prominent in areas are pushed down to the point that we can't have those things. We do this in all areas. For example: Racial tension in this country has gone from one extreme to the other. We went through all the fights for rights of others, we went through the stage of political correctness, now we are at the stage where is it OK to have the United ***** College Fund, Black Entertainment Television, Ebony Magazine, Black Music Awards, Black Movie Awards, Black History Month……but let us just one time try to have a college fund geared towards just Caucasian, or even Caucasian American History Month and our country would be on the verge of a civil war again. You can say, "can't we all just get along", and the answer is no. There will always be a religion that thinks they are "more right", or a race that believes they deserve better treatment than the next race, a country that believes they deserve more of the space on this planet or more power, or even one or two individuals that will take up a belief in something different and push their issue until there is violence. There will always be that one person that pushes the envelope just a little too far, goes beyond the boundaries of decency and tries to provoke others. Violence is instinctive in all animals and we as humans must prove every single day that we are just that……animals.

They will never have peace in Islam as long as they use the Koran. They are trying to become peaceful by re-interpreting it, but they need to re-write the whole thing. If they are going to re-write then they need a prophet that is credible and not some child molester. So all of that leaves them without a religion of peace..
Even when they say peace, it is peace through submission to Islam. So peace is when you do it their way.. for everyone else slavery.
They are completely brain dead to the fact that Christian and muslim do not worship the same God. Abraham rejected Ishmael as God did. Not even close to the same God, but they keep repeating it as if it will become true by saying it..

You are very ignorant and uneducated concerning current events, religion, and World History. Intellectant people will see your ignorance. You haven't read the entire Quran, nor do you realize that the Bible contains such verses as well, nor have you
EVEN read the entire context of the ayat you are trying to quote and take out of context. Its okay, Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world and people from all walks of life and backrounds find peace and truth. CNN, MSNBC, and Fox news aren't good supplements for knowledge.

You have to overlook a large portion of history in order to reach the conclusion that Christianity has not had just as bloody a past as any other faith. The Crusades against Islam, the Crusade against the Cathars in France, and the "troubles" in Ireland just to name a few. You also have to be willing to make one heck of a generalization to assume that all Muslims enjoy it when terrorist succeed. I know several who are sick at heart over the violence.

Great Blurb-- but should it not be in a COMEDY or JOKE sectionof Yahoo?
The Verse Of The Sword from Al-Tawbah
Fight and slay the pagans (infidels) wherever ye find them, and seize them,
beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem of war." - Sura 9:5
"Prophet, make war on unbelievers and hypocrites, and deal rigorously
with them." - Sura 9:73
"Let not the unbelievers think they will ever get away. They have not
the power to do so. Muster against them all the men and cavalry at
your command, so that you may strike terror into the enemy of Allah
and your enemy... Prophet, (Muhammed) rouse the faithful to arms!
If they (the non-Muslims) incline to peace (accept Islam) make
peace with them." - Sura 8:59
"If they reject your judgement, know that it is Allah's wish to scourge
them for their sins." - Sura 5:49
"Believers (Muslims), take neither Jews nor Christians to be your
friends: they are friends with one another.
Whoever of you seeks their friendship shall become one of their number,
and God does not guide (those Jewish and Christian) wrong-doers." - Sura 5:51
"Not Jesus, but a look alike, was substituted and crucified at the Cross." -4:157
THIS IS BLASPHEMY - AND A LIE! No proof can be offered at all.

Isn't is ironic christian & muslim are brothers sharing the abraham lineage, so is the Jews. Sound like a long family feud. Like a lot of family unit , not all see eye to eye & not all are God believers.

Without religions this world would be less violent. Without bigots like you. Without poor and desperate people that are easily brainwashed into terrorism just because they are poor and desperate.
Erradicate poverty, erradicate ignorance and erradicate bigotry, and you've got the recipe for peace.
Christianism is as violent as islam. Remember the crusades? The inquisition? Or the mocking of gay people at their funerals as done by modern fundamentalist christian groups?
Organized religion only exists to divide people and give positions of power to individuals that don't deserve them.

We've become very politically correct, even to the point of hiding what we all know. Face it, if anyone says anything negative about islam, someone gets killed, and it doesn't even have to be the one who said it. We're dealing with fanatics, and there's no logic or rationality with fanatics.

As I said before, to say that Christianity did not spread itself by sword and fire is an outright lie. Christianity has more blood on its name than Islam does.
