You are comparing apples to oranges here.
It's obvious that more than likely a wife/girlfriend would be more expensive in the long run, but will have a better return for your money. It would be like renting a car or buying a car.
The convenience factor would be the wife/girlfriend as you SHOULD be able to have sex whenever you really wanted to. But I guess not all women think like me.

Escort is cheaper/less hassle and they dont give a crap unless you have money. This is not a good ego thing for you though....as love/intimacy isnt involved....so you could be the grossest person alive and they will have sex with you. Can be expensive if used often....not so much if used only when desperate
Girlfriends are as expensive as you want them to be...depends on the length of the relationship and her circumstances...jobless or not....princess or goes dutch sometimes. Wives are usually longterm and involves your whole wallet plus hers if she works.

Like KVH said, there's women out there that aren't gold diggers. So if they give it up for free, they're going to be less expensive. Also, you stand less chance for STDs.
