A score of 103 is in the average range. However there are many IQ tests and the exact meaning of the score varies from test to test. The Stanford-Binet IQ Test developed in 1905 was the first standardized IQ test and gave way to most modern IQ testing. More recently it has been shown that IQ is only a single factor in a persons Intellectual ability. The bottom line is that a 103 IQ is good in that it shows an ability to comprehend things on a "collage" level, but it does not mean much other then that. Wikipedia has a very good article IQ.

Profoundly Mentally Retarded Less Than 25
Severe Mental Retardation 25 - 40
Moderate Mental Retardation 40 -55
Mildly Mentally Retarded 55 - 70

Dull Normal Intelligence 80 - 90
Normal Intelligence 90 - 110
Bright Normal Range of Intelligence 110 -120
Superior Intelligence 120 -130
Very Superior Intelligence 130 and Above

It means you did about average on an IQ test. Does it tell you much about your intelligence? Not really.

Anything between 100 and 120 is considered normal. You're good to go.

But you're in good company. IQ tests aren't everything.

any score 100 or above is good!

About average, nothing to write home about...I believe above average is around 140 or so...
